About

Jennifer Jones first got her hands on a microphone at the age of 8 when she got up on a karaoke in Cyprus to sing Jimmy Jones’ “Handyman”. Since that night, singing is all Jennifer has ever wanted to do!

At the age of 18 Jennifer got her first look in at the clubland world when she joined TJ King’s KonneXion, after almost 2 years Jennifer decided to leave when her progression with the band seemed limited.

Between the ages of 20 and 22, Jennifer spent time helping out a fellow male singer with gigs at Social Clubs, Pubs and Holiday Camps, when those gigs ceased Jennifer answered an ad in the paper for an all-girl Trio with a brand new management company, in November 2007, Vogue was formed! Vogue  performed successfully for several months but unfortunately the trio fell apart when a member decided to leave.

This was the point when Jennifer decided to go solo, she wanted a secure singing career without having to worry about members not wanting to work or leaving altogether.

Now at the age of 26, Jennifer Jones is a successful semi-professional solo singer! She has over 8 years experience in the industry and has taken part in competitions such as Popstars, Pop Idol, X-factor, Fame Academy, Bandeoke, Idol 2008 and I GOT SWAGGER! and OpenMicUK.
Jennifer and her dancers ‘The Starlette’s’ were the winners of the Open Mic UK Regional Final in 2009 AND 2010, they then went on to perform at the National Finals in Manchester for a an audience and a panel of judges including Dane Bowers.

Since then, Jennifer has spent time working with producers Wayne C. Macdonald, Devon Kosoko & Okan, rapper Silvar Laidlow and singer Jav Zavari. She spent most of 2010 recording music for the first time. ‘Must Be The Music’ contestant Silvar featured Jennifer on his single “Timeless” and Jennifer then finished her first ever song (which was donated to the Beat Bullying charity) “Butterfly”.

In November 2010, after several months of struggling to sing, Jennifer was diagnosed with Vocal Chord Nodules, she was forced to numerous pre-bookings and spent over 9 months resting her voice.

In early 2011 Jennifer competed in the Nationwide Miss Linekers Modelling competition and came 3rd in the final. In May 2011, Jennifer released the single “Murderer” and performed it live for the 1st time at Newcastle’s Evolution Festival, supporting acts such as Tinie Tempah, Katy B, Iggy Pop and Plan B. Jennifer also found time to compete in G-Casino’s Got Talent, write songs and travel to London to work with Baby Girl Music.
